Download Packer

Packer was packaging using Packer and is thus availible in a variety of packaging formats. You can skip the whole packaging business and go here for a simple source tarball. Packer contains no binaries, so these packages should work on all platforms. MD5SUMS are at the bottom of the page.

Debian package (for Debian and its derivatives such as Ubuntu, Mepis, Knoppix, etc)

Fedora/Red Hat RPM Package (SuSE and Mandriva users should download this since the only significant thing unique about RPMs without menu entries is their category)

Note that Gentoo Ebuild generation and post-uninstallation actions are not availible in this release, but should be availible in subsequent releases (the former is mostly complete).
